Mostly a rabid pro-war rant. The negative effects he alludes to if we withdraw are happening while we still try to occupy. The debate whether to invade Iraq did happen, but it was based upon deliberate lies and demonization. If you want support for a war, do not base it on lies to steal oil. The invasion and torture and murders and destruction in Iraq are strengthening Al Qaeda per the latest intelligence report, not weakening Al Qaeda. Iraq had nothing to do with Al Qaeda before the invasion and occupation, nor with 911. Recovering from this stupidity will be difficult, recovery will not be helped by continuing the stupidity.

Good story, but doesn't ask the question of "why" the NYT and Clinton think it's ok to subject the Iraqis to genocide.

This is a great piece...we now know exactly who GW Bush has been talking to ...while making policy decisions...Don Surber....some may wonder at Mr Surber route to such strong and seeming strange & virulent posturing. Is he a libertarian? At least he has intensity!
