Handful of Senators Block Clean Energy Vote

A handful of senators blocked a vote on a national renewable electricity standard last night, but the House of Representatives will consider a similar standard as early as next week. This statement captured my interest by stating that senators could block a vote on an important topic without identifying themselves. Assuming that's correct, this statement by an extremely highly respected source explains why it is unable to quote an opposing viewpoint, making it into a fair story about an extremely important topic.
