As Bus Bomb Hits Tel Aviv, Sharif Abdel Kouddous on Egypt's Mediator Role and Gaza's Ongoing Torment
The Israeli bombardment of Gaza has entered its eighth day with the Palestinian death toll now topping 139. More than 1,200 people have been injured. Earlier today, 21 people were injured in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv when a bomb exploded aboard a crowded bus. International efforts to secure a ceasefire have so far been unsuccessful.
