Timely piece by Mark Clayton of Christian Science Monitor. A question was asked by Mark: Could e-voting machines in election 2012 be hacked? And she answered 'yes' citing references of many experts and analysing the risks involved. A more elaborate research paper by Barbara Simons and Douglas W. Jones is available in the Communications of the ACM, Vol. 55 No. 10, Pages 68-77 titled "Internet Voting in the U.S."
