Romney as a Manager: Unhurried and Socratic

"A serial chief executive, Mitt Romney is steeped in management theory and eschews gut instincts, wading deeply into the kind of raw data that is usually left to junior aides."

This stuck out to me because it shows to things; Romney like to get things done, but Romney likes to take on too much responsibility and should learn to delegate. Full Story »

Interesting trivia on personal traits, but ignores the economic and political objectives of the man. Was he good at managing predatory vulture capitalism? There is a much bigger question of what he would try to do with whatever skills and faults he has, than the lesser question of what skills he brings to the game.

I feel like this story gives a new side to Mitt Romney and goes into a great amount of detail about the kind of politician and leader he is from his peers and co workers. Most of what ive heard about Romney from friends, and the internet, have been opinionated statements about him being "an idiot" or other personal attacks on him without any real description of who he is and what he does, and most importantly what he is capable of doing, should he win the election and become the next presdident of the United States. While i still havent personally formed an opinion on him, it was helpful to have a new, more detailed description of the candidate.
