This article is about women voters in this year's upcoming election in context with the Romney-Ryan opposition to equal pay, contraception, less funding for Planned Parenthood, and intentions of overturning Roe v. Wade. Interesting enough, this article was written by a woman, Jessica Pieklo. Thinking about the News in America- Ch.3 (Pressures in the Newsroom), I see this situation in one of two ways. One, being a woman reporter, she dissolves the misconception of a dominant, white male newsroom majority. On the other hand though, I feel her situation can be labeled as being put in minority status.
