A mediocre story on the Denver presidential debate that is evident from the story title: "Romney goes on offense against subdued Obama in first debate." Many analysts seems confused on why so many commentators have handed this one to Romney, other than the mercy of low expectations. It reminds us of the Biden-Palin debates. Palin did not completely implode, so she won? Romney did not implode so he won?

Lacks any informed view of truthy-ness where others detected gross lies and spectacular flip-flops. Ignores substantial policy differences, particularly with regard to their impacts upon ordinary people and extraordinarily rich people. Takes not note of the horrific pasted smirk and the bullying of the moderator by Myth Romney. A weak evaluation by the press leads to a poorly informed public.
