A Romney aide told the National Review that he does not support the Affordable Care Act's ban on discriminating against people with pre-existing conditions, despite suggesting on "Meet the Press" that he supported that part of the law.

When the hot air is rapidly shifting directions, describing the phenomenon can be a bit difficult, such as here. It seems to be the Mitt position that if there is a pre-existing condition, the magic hand of the market will take care of it by the laying on of hands, or possibly by giving a finger.
