An interesting article which talks around Romney’s tax solutions, mainly because Romney offers nothing definitive about his plans for balancing the budget–just like the rest of his campaign rhetoric–vagueness rather than definitiveness. So in addition to being a well-oiled weather vane and one of the greatest prevaricating candidates in history, he’s also so secretive he may out Nixon, Nixon. Consider these quotes as an example of all three Romney characteristics. Romney’s real campaign strategy is to remain as secretive as possible about everything, not enlightening anyone–neither liberals nor even his own right wing base–about any specifics which would clarify his vague flip-flopping and liar-liar-pants-on-fire fairy tales. We will just have to take his word about everything. Even though anyone doing so would be a complete idiot.
