Sirajul Islam
4.1
by Sirajul Islam - Jul. 2, 2012

A cutting edge piece published by The Atlantic (though the piece originally appeared at Reuters first which is also an Atlantic partner) written by David Rohde who is a columnist for Reuters, two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize, and a former reporter for The New York Times. It's nothing new that journalists are the targets of attacks, and that's Mr. Rohde's area of attention. The report is well-researched, quoted many sources and references, and covered considerable incidences of attacks or harassments of journalists. However, the report could be more elaborate and can cover many other countries where reporters work in a challenging environment.
