Guest Worker Visa Programs and Professional and Technical Workers in the U.S.

An array of skilled worker visas, including the H-1B, L, and J, is available to employers
seeking guest workers. In FY2010 alone, over 350,000 guest worker visas, as well as OPT, were
approved for employers hiring skilled workers. For the last 30 years, employers have expanded

The much abused labor/immigration visa system is only understood by about 2% of the population, 1% who abuse and make predatory profits off the workers, and another 1% who bother to study and oppose it. This thorough research from the DPE provides a venue for developing an understanding of the abuse. Corporate dominated media do not often report on this particular area of corporate corruption.

Due to wealthy contributors to politicians, this system will not get fixed unless people understand the problems and demand changes.
