A good post by David Mizner in which he compared his country's past to present saying while they were 'not a social democracy but social democratic tendencies' were present, and 'about a third of workforce' was unionised, the rich were paying close to a reasonable amount in taxes etc, and 'the people, through their government, were able to holding back the Beast. But presently, Neoliberalism, being the Beast, seeks to take from the poor and give to the rich.
