I had never thought about how the media characterizes those who oppose gay marriage, and while I am supportive of gay marriage, I agree with O'Reilly to some extent because people are entitled to their own beliefs. At the same time, the media does not always have to be neutral and in reality is never completely neutral. The issue of neutrality is definitely something to think about when writing my future pieces.
