A good short news report on a major report issued on critical topics for the planet.

More radical evaluations suggest the biosphere can only sustainably support 3 billion people and concurrently provide sustainable habitat for other lifeforms.

The planet has sufficient resources to sustain 9 billion, but we can only ensure a sustainable future for all if we address grossly unequal levels of consumption.
