A science opinion article that I could write responding to this article about rising temperatures and rising health problems, might be to argue just how much climate change is going to affect and hurt everyone in the human population. I might argue that many people might think they won't be affected and that it will only be much later generations that are affected, but rising temperatures are actually causing health problems now, so people need to become more invested in the issue and take a more active role in preventing global warming.

As a victim of bad allergies, I found this article to be interesting but not shocking. It is of little surprise to me that climate change could potentially worsen allergens worldwide since many of the allergies we suffer are seaasonal. Therefore as weather patterns change and seasons draw longer or are cut short, I see how and why individuals would be experiencing worse symptoms. I now anxiously await new research and evidence that could further support these claims and more importantly, propose solutions or preventable measures. I appreciated the input from Professor Pinkerton at University of California Davis concerning different health problems arising in new areas that were once never considerd to be at risk.
