This article is good journalism, mainly because it is newsworthy. The story explains the hardships children have to face dealing with a parent in prison. I felt that this story was also very insightful, and well-written. It gave examples as to why these children grow up to be very disturbed, and in need of their parents. It was very well-written becaus eit gave examples of kids without these parents, as well as statistics showing inmates who receive visits from their kids.
