A short article with a grabber headline enticing readers. The authors suggest the “hoax” is being perpetrated on the world by paid scientist lackeys of the energy and other industries benefitting from our dependence on carbon energy. If the current bizarre global weather continues, even Inhofe will be forced to admit climate change is reality. But Inhofe and his ilk will merely realign their argument to dis-include human endeavor for any climate change responsibility.

The deniers and their anti-arguments, short on science and long on emotion, have a major ally: we Americans are loath to alter even a modicum of our comfortable lifestyles, even though forces beyond our control are forcing unwanted changes. Which is why fuel prices will be an issue in the coming presidential election, even though fuel prices are also beyond Obama’s control.
