More than any other presentation I have seen, these charts tell the story of our present economic reality. Those who are upple-middle-class and above have profited disproportionately as their political influence, and the political influence of multinational corporations, have increased.

Even those who have prospered during recent decades might do well to remember history--whenever economic inequality becomes too drastic, the imbalance causes political instability and everyone loses, even the wealthy.
