While this story pertained to health findings of a national situation, I believed that the author still manganged to create bias' within in the story that separated Whites from other minorities. This is evident in the findings only mentioning White American reduction rates and omitiing any testing (because was not yet available) for minorities. As mentioned in News in America, the unconscious prejudices that news reporters and journalists may hold can affect the deliverance of the story. Here, it seems as if a lack of informtaion for minorities implies categorical thinking, separting American's into groups of white and minorities.
