The article is informative, but a bit one-sided. Although it is an op-ed it should have laid out the arguments a little more thoroughly. It is quite difficult to convince your audience of your opinion if you do not at least explore the contra arguments. Specifically, this issue involves the ability of law enforcement to effectively combat crime versus the constitutional freedoms that we enjoy. The article fails to present this issue - which is the key question before the High Court.
