Millionaires Control 39% of Global Wealth

Here’s another stat that the Occupy Wall Streeters can hoist on their placards: The world’s millionaires and billionaires now control 38.5% of the world’s wealth. Growing disparity in wealth world-wide is quantified. Since the info is adjunct to income disparity, the picture might have further enrichened insight if weath and income were put side by side with corresponding fractiles. Another interesting breakout would be all-US wealth and income separately, as well as global wealth and income.

Wealth needs to be fairly taxed, just as income needs to be fairly taxed.
