George Carlin and the Bogus Paradox

Today, scholar and rogue nonpareil George Carlin turns 70. Looking for recent pieces on him, I saw this column by a guy named Leo Kelley with the Ada Evening News who says he wrote George and got a moving response about the desperate straits America finds itself in these days. "I'm going to share his letter," says Kelley. "Take it for what it's worth."
