In Germany there seems to be a very real possibility that the openly gay major of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit, will run as the Social Democrat's candidate for German chancellor next year. In the United States Michelle Bachmann still thinks gays need to be 'cured.' After all, it worked so well for her husband that she actually thinks he is straight.
