Some good information but this tory is marred bu being too one-sided. We all would have benefited from hearing from some Iraqi voices -- not just from US military ones -- as well as some more critical perspectives beyond the US line.
First person narrative of the security situation in Iraq. There are minor style issues (mosque is not a church) but otherwise well written.
The story, written from a first hand look via embedding with the 1-4 Cav, is an informative portrait of the challenges facing our troops in managing the allegiances of Iraqi civilians with the forces of Al Sadr in Baghdad.
