Does a remarkable job of sticking to the facts of this freakish story without making any editorial comments.
Chuck Norris is an Internet legend? He was a karate star. I saw him fight when I was in high school. For the record, that was a long time ago. Then he had a TV show and a couple of flop movies. So I don't get the Internet thing. But the rest of the piece was instructive. Especially about who Bachman associates with and what their views are.
It is hard to believe that in 2011 a person who claims they want to be President would sign such a divisive document.
It was difficult to judge this article on such a black and white scale. The reason it got a more positive review from me is because it billed as political commentary, and not news. The first half of the article has very good information on the topic and describes what the pledge is about. However, the references to the blog are opinions. While she makes good points, Cheryl Contee is not an expert. Also, the link provided to the Des Moines Register does not discuss Huntman's decision not to sign pledges. I also think there needs to be proof that Bachman supports the same things her husband does, since the most memorable quote comes from him.
