When Mary Beth Buchanan became U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Bush administration had already laid out its priorities for federal prosecutions:

An interesting story on a US attorney who has not be fired, and apparently followed the Bush administration's policies studiously. Plenty of background information, and quotes from interviews with friends and foes are included.
