Gonzales Met With Top Aides On Firings

Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales met with senior aides on Nov. 27 to review a plan to fire a group of U.S. attorneys, according to documents released last night, a disclosure that contradicts Gonzales's previous statement that he was not involved in "any discussions" about the dismissals.

Gets quotes from both sides, the side of lying-is-okay (Republicans) and lying-is-not-okay (Democrats). It's really great to see all these Republicans smear each other to try and cover up their own lies, cheating, and corruption, as it indicates what has truly comprised Republican "values" since the loonies took over in the mid-1990s.
