Could you cite where his case is well-supported? Every paragraph has statements that are contrary to the facts. Republicans are not trying to dismantle Medicare, Obama is, for under his plan Medicare will run out of money by 2018 and be bankrupt. Are John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Tom Coburn, Lamar Alexander, …, immature? They are the unquestioned leaders of the Republican Party today.
Ryan has produced the first serious look at the future of our entitlement programs and how they will disappear unless changes are made and soon. Please read the House budget for 2012 carefully! You may see why adult Democrats in the Senate, such as Kent Conrad are actually planning to use it as the starting point for their consideration of the budget for 2012.
