This is a dangerously superficial article about the division in Islam. While it is entertainingly written, it doesn't go into much of the recent history of mutual suspicion between Shi'is and Sunnis, nor does it identify many of the key parties to recent battles, or talk about the Shi'i affinity for martyrdom stemming from the murder of Hussein at Karbala. A person who wants to understand this divide in Islam would be ill-served by this article.

Good explanation as to the origin of the Shia/Sunni split, but no information as to current differences in belief. Story ends with the statement that almost all current viloence beween the 2 groups is due to actions of Saddam Huesein. Supporting material is warranted and would be very interesting.
