I actually do not believe that this is a example of good journalism, because it is very bias. It is one-sided about the life of Elizabeth Taylor. It is evident that the author of this article is a fan of Elizabeth Taylor, therefore there were few negative remarks about it.
The article is not really insightful tyo me, because it is not very insightful. The reader does not learn anything from the article. It touches on some of the movies she appeared in as well as her many failed marriages, but I dont feel like the article was touching on her actual life story and how she was influential in Hollywood.
This is"okay" journalism. The article was enjoyable because the topic was one that my be considered to be enjoyable. The article was also very well written. It summed up many years of information in a few short paragraphs, which is always awesome. Liz Taylor is one of the most famous people in Hollywood. I was looking forward to hearing some things about liz that I didn't know before. There were a few things mentioned about her in this article that were striking but not quite new information. This is good journalism to me because I feel as if it totally encompasses the Life of Liz Taylor. There has been a lot of hype around her between Lindsay Lohan playing her in a role into 2013. I think that as time goes on, celebrities like Liz Taylor have become Hollywood starlet's desired goal for achievement in a way. I thought it a very interesting choice for them to cast former child star Lindsay Lohan as Liz Taylor in the film and had not previously known that Liz had also been a child star whose career grew with her into adulthood.
