Notes: This is an important environmental story covered by a Miami's New Times, a free weekly published by Villiage Voice Media. The Florida Keys and Biscayne Bay are natural treasures, and perhaps this is just a local story or - for those of us who have seen Mr. Gore's film - this could be viewed as another "canary in the mine" story. Notes: A very nicely done story on a local situation with implications for the rest of the world. The writer is careful to find balance and to avoid being didactic and it's quite a nice read.
