Notes: Presents a side of the Walter Reed fiasco I was not familiar with. The piece isn't very balanced or well-sourced, however.

Notes: the information here, if combined with testimony elicited by Ms holmes-norton, representing d.c. in congress, in her questions to Commanders Kiley and Weightman of Walter Reed Hospital, seems to offer greater questions about the privatization priorities of this administration. Notes: A story of greed, corruption, insider contracts, anti-worker actions, disregard for the maimed, and dogmatic foolishness that would have been a surprise six year ago. Excellent research.

Arnold Schwarznegger tried to take on two popular groups--nurses and teachers--in his disasterous 2005 California special election. Now the Bush administration is feeling a similar pain ... More »

Notes: WOW This is great journalism. Is it fair? I want to know. Scandal is a word which is losing it's punch. I don't think Mattera is making this stuff up. I will have to investigate, guess I'll start by asking Joe Lieberman.

Notes: This story is great background to the Walter Reed scandal however it contains opinion and is not well sourced. It appears to be factual though, but required my own investigation of additional sources to be sure.
