This is a very strong report with links to sources. I don't know if he's right, but I suspect if I knew how to do my own analysis, he points me at the material. Good report and the comments are worth skimming as well.
An interesting analysis of Saudi Arabia's oil production numbers. The comments are informative and cast a light on the difficulty of determining the exact state of affairs when a country shrouds its oil production and reserves from the rest of the world.
This is an interesting story, but does go deeper into jargon and particulars than most broad-reaching journalism. I am in no position to analyse the data myself, but the ideas postulated here would be very impactful on current oil consumption trends if true.
