Informative story about a little known battlefield for wireless carriers. Gave me a new perspective on an under-reported topic.
If a ltttle breathless and gushy, it is a well done piece on Verizon's fiber to the home strategy. It neglects to tell any of the history of promises made by the various telephone companies years ago and/or the subsidies put in place to get them to do work like what Verizon has done. It also doesn't tell the story of high speed wireless options on the horizon. But it does put the Verizon offering in perspective and tell a nice human interest story as well.
"I am the lineman for the county,,,,la la la. Some things don't change as Verizon puts fiber optic cable into the world. Sounds like Verizon stock may be a good investment.
