Notes: I am sitting in the media room at the Libby Trial, hearing the reporters chatter as well as what Judge Walton and others are saying. This article jumped out at me as one of the best written, informative and complete stories about what happened yesterday

Notes: Timely and informative coverage of an important topic. I found a bit more information in this story than in the Los Angeles Times article on this topic.

Notes: This aptly illustrates the dilemma left by the dismissal of the juror in the "Scooter" Libby trial--particularly the controversial decision to leave the vacancy unfilled (ie, 11 jurors instead of the full 12) to save time.

Notes: This is about as good as written-to-deadline journalism gets. It doesn't present deep background, but gives enough context so that a reader who's been lost in space for the past five years could figure out what the trial is all about.
