Extensive interview with a former CIGNA employee on the problems in the massively influential health insurance industry. Done in classic Moyers style -- very patient, thorough, honest. He elicits informative and revealing responses from Potter, and isn't afraid to challenge him.

I saw this interview and thought it was very believable. Mr. Potter's opinion obviously is not the whole story, but he does point out the pressures on the insurance executives to meet Wall Street expections.

Bill Moyers interview with former Cigna exec Wendell Potter shows the depths to which our insurance industry has fallen.

If this doesn't tell us that the public option is the minimum necessary, with single payer being ideal, I don't know what does.

There is no more important journalist in America than Bill Moyers. His "Journal" program is always an hour well spent.
