The problem with this article is that it's based off a rumor. If the author had backed up this rumor with credible sources, then that would be one thing. But this article only has one source, a Councilman who's ties to Mfume are unclear. Additionally, the lead is misleading. The title of the article claims that he Mfume will not be running for mayor. However, the lead says that Mfume is "emerging again this year as the city's most famous perennial rumored candidate." Overall, I believe that will a few more credible sources with ties to Mfume would make this article much better journalism.
