The only source in this story is a councilman whose ties to Mfume are not clear, and the crux of the story is based on hearsay. I would like to see documentation of an effort to reach Mfume, even if he never returned calls. There are also several references to rumors, fame, and widely accepted thought that I question and that are not substantial enough for my liking.
