Danny Schecter rants and raves but doesn't bring any of his unsubstantuated arguments to a conclusion. This is really a blog entry rather than a opinion piece.

Once again the "News Dissector" gets out the story that is behind the headlines. Marketing and media are now synomonous. News sells when it should tell. Information has morphed into infomercials. We know more about mogul egos than we know about Mobile Exxon. Wall Street formerly looked to the media for tips on the market economy. Today, Wall Street tips the market economy in favor of selected media. In debt we trust!
