Notes: FAIR is on an important journalistic point. They take the NY Times to task with examples and clips from the paper's own policies. Useful stuff.

Notes: Some reviewers are more kind to the Times than the facts show. The motive of publishing bad reports is obscure. While the editors at the NYtimes are doing this public disservice, they are doing it with eyes wide open. What do the letters to the editor say? Are they printing any? Guess I'll go to the library and check them out.

Notes: A slavish press that uncritically amplifies the Bush Cheney lies that beat the drums for war has been a disaster for the country and a disaster to the hope for an informed democracy on critical topics of war and peace. FAIR calls the NYT to account for their lack of ethics and service to informing the democracy.

Notes: FAIR shows that the NYT never learned or has already forgotten the lessons of uncritically reporting Republican war-mongering.
