This piece seems overly long and self-serving. People have the right to write in as coarse a manner as they wish on their blogs, but with every action comes consequences. While those on the right are likely just as evil as she complains, she can't blame them for giving them ammunition by cursing like a sailor. The nature of politics is to look for your opponents weak points and make the most you can out of them. She understandably didn't want to be one of those weak points for the Edwards campaign, and has decided to attempt to make political hay against those who attacked her (which is human nature).
