Visualizations can be great at explaining data trends, and this map achieves its aim. The data is solid, and then blurb below the map effectively explains what we're seeing.

An easy-to-use interactive map with shows detailed information. It needs more accompanying context: I know what Medicare spends per recipient in a given area, but I don't know why it's more or less expensive than other parts of the country.

Pretty good interactive map. It's a bit hard to get data on small areas, colors are a bit funky, but the overall result is interesting.

Although the information is interesting and important, there is not much in depth to back up the numbers that are being shown on the actual map. A better understanding would come from providing information that correlates with the numbers being shown throughout the country in regards to health care costs.
