Administration wants suit against Yoo dismissed

The Obama administration has asked an appeals court to dismiss a lawsuit accusing former Bush administration attorney John Yoo of authorizing the torture of a terrorism suspect, saying federal law does not allow damage claims against lawyers who advise the president on national security issues. The story seems to be reported straight up, and professionally.

Yoo is a war criminal. Paddilla was tortured as a result of Yoo's crimes in creating a faux protection for torture. The court should deny the Obama request. I don't want Obama to have torture powers any more than I wanted Bush to have torture powers, and skate for doing it.
