Sen. Johnny Isakson's Shady Dinner With Lobbyists: Crashing The Party

Just for fun, the Huffington Post decided Tuesday night to crash a dinner party for Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.). It was one of many fundraisers happening every day for different politicians around town. The event's location was listed on the Sunlight Foundation's website, www.politicalpartytime.org, as a townhouse just a few blocks from the U.S. Capitol. Full Story »

A real in the face type (going where they don't want you) attempt at an investigation (by a citizen journalist I think) into a fund raising event of a republicon senator.

The story tells a lot about the socialization of politics; the press is excluded rudely, while the wealthy wine and dine in luxury while divvying out the pork we bought. Not erudite, but very telling.
