This article takes some unfortunate shortcuts with the facts ("Mr. Duvalier... ruled Haiti with brutality and corruption for nearly 15 years"), rather than giving a full historical account, but it does provide helpful broad context within the scope of Haitian politics. This is a surprising turn of events, to say the least, and I think the tone of this story conveys that.
