This is true. Shakes is now the netroots coordinator at the Edwards campaign. I know this from her appearance the other day at the Edwards blog, which I frequent. It's a fairly minor story, just one more hire by a presidential candidate. I think it's interesting from the perspective of the growing importance of the net in politics.
