Committee Dems Release Cheaper, Better Public Health Care Bill

Sen. Ted Kennedy's Health, Education, Labor & Pensions Committee released details of its plan Thursday to expand access to health insurance, create a public option that consumers could buy into and reduce health care costs over the long haul.

Well, it's an article that says there's a new, better, cheaper plan which will cover more people. It does mention that certain unnamed expenses aren't included, and that some other Medicare expenses are and will boost costs. One of the problems of all health care reform articles is that they lack specifics. Is this because there aren't many yet, or because the writers don't understand them?

But then, specifics bring out opposition, don't they. It would be interesting to hear reaction from the 'antis', or even from some 'moderate' Democrats.
