This is seven minutes of video showing Senator Russ Feingold taking off the gloves and asserting the role of the Congress in times of war - in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee. He does this with eloquence and certainty while walking through a political minefield.
It is refreshing to see Congress finally asking questions, verbally stating their position/s, and exerting some oversight. This is a 180 degree change from the last 6 years of rubberstamping everything thrown at them from the White House. Now let's hope the majority in congress rally behind Feingold & those like him.
