Yeung gets poignant stories of the benefits of health care to a portion of the population who typically have no health insurance, convicts and parolees. The benefits to society from these people having health care is an interesting slant. How this fits into the current health care bill debate is not addressed.

There would seem to be an argument for single payer here.
