The article reports on a study that shows there is wind power enough to replace all carbon and nuclear energy. The problem of moving that power across a grid to service populated areas is largely ignored. The study shows the magnitude of the potential for wind power.

Solar power generated on buildings in populated areas avoid much of the grid problem. Huge political lobbies are not in place for solar and wind, so coal and oil corporations are whacking away at funding for solar and wind. We need public financing of elections.
